Dominic Riebli graduated Academic All-Ivy in Football from Columbia University. His rugby career began with Pasadena RFC, where he first met USC Rugby Alums Bryan Randles and Jason Reyes. After two seasons, that trio moved over to Santa Monica Rugby Club Dolphins (“SMRC”) and played together for several years. Riebli excelled as an openside flanker – earning representative honors with the SoCal Griffins from 2001-2005, winning the 2003 ITT Championship, and getting into the USARFU Eagles player pool in 2001. He was a stalwart of the Dolphins pack for over a decade and won back-to-back Division 1 National Titles in 2005 and 2006. Riebli served as Club Captain and then General Manager for most of his career at SMRC and still assists in player recruitment. He served as an Assistant Coach with UCLA Rugby in 2014 and most recently started coaching his eldest son at Santa Monica Youth Rugby.
Now, joining USC Rugby, it is our pleasure to announce Dominic Riebli as our new Director of Rugby. Riebli brings years of experience and dedication to the sport that should further define and bolster our program. Welcome to the team, Dominic. Mr. Riebli is married and has four children.
